SEE-VIP - Selected eLearning Education for Visually Impaired People

Für sehbehinderte und blinde Menschen ist es besonders wichtig Zugang zur Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie (ICT) als Lern- und Unterrichtsmedium zu haben. ICT dient dazu, die Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Unterrichtsmethoden und Lernstilen zu optimieren.

Zurzeit sind jedoch computergestützte Bildungsangebote für sehbehinderte Menschen im Allgemeinen nicht zugänglich. eLearning-Kurse werden üblicherweise nur für Menschen ohne Behinderung angeboten.
 
Projektziele:
  • Bedarfsanalyse in Bezug auf die berufliche Qualifikation blinder bzw. sehbehinderter Menschen
  • Entwicklung zugänglicher e-Learning-Möglichkeiten für blinde bzw. sehbehinderte Menschen
  • Entwicklung einer zugänglichen und interaktiven webbasierten Lernplattform
  • Aufbau eines ÜbersetzerInnennetzwerks
  • Entwicklung von Informationsmanagementfertigkeiten
  • Machbarkeitsstudien in Bezug auf Länder, die sich für e-Learning-Möglichkeiten für blinde bzw. sehbehinderte Menschen interessieren
 
 
 
It is particularly important for people who are blind and visually impaired that information and communication technology (ICT) is an accessible medium for learning and teaching. ICT is used to optimize the choice of different teaching methods and learning styles. However, current computer-assisted educational opportunities for people who are visually impaired are generally not
accessible. eLearning courses are generally only accessible to users without a disability.
 
Project Aims:
  • Needs analysis of vocational qualifications for people who are blind or visually impaired
  • Creation of accessible eLearning opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired
  • Creation of an accessible interactive web-based learning platform
  • Establishment of an interpreter/translator network
  • Development of information management skills
  • Feasibility studies in respect of countries interested in eLearning opportunities for people who are blind or visually impaired
