IPLD - Inclusive practices for learners with disabilities

Über das Projekt IPLD wird ein fortbestehendes Forum aufgebaut, welches sich der speziellen Bedürfnisse von sensorisch benachteiligten Lernenden – hauptsächlich bilde und sehbehinderte sowie taube und hörgeschädigte Personen – annimmt. Obwohl die meisten der Projektpartner derartigen Netzwerke bereits auf nationaler Ebene angehören, ist die Einrichtung eines Forums auf europäischer Ebene von allerdringlichster Wichtigkeit; nur so können die Eigenheiten und Bedürfnisse verschiedener Kulturkreise, unterschiedlicher Organisationsstrukturen sowie unterschiedlicher Kompetenzstandards und Erfahrungsniveaus Berücksichtigung finden. Eine der Hauptaufgaben dieser europäischen Partnerschaft wird sein, die jeweils verantwortlichen Bildungspolitiker über diese integrierenden Lernprogramme in Kenntnis zu setzen.


Aim of the IPLD project is to create an analytical and ongoing forum into the learning needs of sensorial impaired learners, mainly focusing on blind and visually impaired as well as on deaf and hard of hearing persons. Although most of the project partner are already linked to such networks on national level, there is a certain need for such a forum paying respect to different cultural backgrounds and organisational structures as well as to different competence standards and experiences from all over Europe. One of the main tasks of this strong European pool will be to inform continuously responsible persons in educational policy about inclusive learning programmes.
